Two of our four club philosophies are Character and Community. These are two areas that we take seriously and care about to help our players develop into young men. All of our players come from great communities who have given them plenty, so we try to give back when we can.

Empire City Donates $1,795 to Tri-County United Way
May 20, 2020 - Due to the generosity of many Empire City families we were able to donate $1,795 to the Tri-County United Way. In these trying times of COVID-19 there are many local families struggling with food and necessities. Our contribution went towards their "COVID-19 Community Response Fund" which is helping local families. From the Tri-County United Way:
"The Tri-County United Way COVID-19 Community Response Fund will support relief efforts of organizations addressing unmet basic needs as a result of the corona virus. Designed to provide additional, critical funding and resources to existing assistance programs and local nonprofit agencies, the fund will help our neighbors in Warren, Washington and northern Saratoga Counties.100% of the funds donated to the COVID-19 Community Response Fund will be distributed. The fund will prioritize organizations addressing basic needs in the Tri-County area. The first allocation of funds will be used to help food pantries respond to a rapidly-growing demand for food and commodities. Funds will be released on a rolling basis as fundraising continues throughout the outbreak and recovery phases of the crisis. We have the systems in place to get the funds to the most affected people as quickly as possible, with a minimum of red tape."

Players volunteer at Open Door Mission
March 29, 2017 - A group of 16 Empire City players volunteered their time at the Open Door Mission in Glens Falls, NY. The boys packaged Easter candy, sorted food, cleaned, and even helped serve a meal. It was a great experience for our boys to learn about what it means to give back. Thanks to all the players and parents for their help. Check out some pictures below.
Operation Gratitude
After Halloween 2015, Empire City Soccer Academy along with Adirondack FC and Adirondack Lynx collected 52 pounds of Halloween candy to raise the spirits of veterans and active duty officers! Great job everyone. Check out Operation Gratitude here.
Open door MissionA group of boys went to the Open Door Mission in Glens Falls to help out. They cleaned up outside, organized the food pantry, sorted clothes, cleaned the kitchen, and washed dishes. Great work boys, and thanks to the Open Door Mission for providing such a great service to the community.

Salvation armyA group of boys spent a few hours at the Salvation Army in Glens Falls, organizing food and clothes from a recent donation. We were awed by how big of a reach the Salvation Army has and were happy to lend a helping hand.
