Dan St. Jacques
Goalkeeping
Coach St. Jacques, originally from Ottawa, Ontario, has been the goalkeeper trainer for Empire City Soccer Academy since 2013. He has also served as the goalkeeper trainer for the NCAA D-III, Skidmore Women's team. Prior to this, St. Jacques served as the Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at SUNY Adirondack in the Fall of 2013. He worked mainly with the goalkeepers who improved tremendously during the season. Prior to working with Empire City, Coach St. Jacques was an assistant coach with Empire United Soccer Academy in Syracuse, NY. Along with collegiate and club experience, Coach St. Jacques has coached at soccer camps with the Ottawa Fury and Le Moyne College.
St. Jacques played collegiately for NCAA D-II power Le Moyne where he was the starting GK for the 2009 NCAA D-II Final Four Team. He also played for the Ottawa Fury of the Premier Development League, while assisting with the club’s youth goalkeepers. He is one of the only premier GK trainers in the area.
