Tim Ciampa
Coach Ciampa, originally from Castleton, NY, has been a coach with Empire City Soccer Academy since 2012. During this time he has spent time coaching the U-16, U-17, and U-19 boys teams as well as the U19 girls team. He is also the current Queensbury Girls Varsity coach. He guided the 2021 team to their first ever Section 2 Class A sectional championship in school history as well as a Foothills Council Championship. He was named Foothills Coach and Section 2 Class A Coach of the Year. Prior to this, Ciampa was the top Assistant Coach for SUNY Adirondack Men's Soccer team for two years. In 2013, the Timberwolves were Regional III champions and were one of eight teams to make it to the national tournament where they fell to the eventual national champion. With a 15-3 record, the Timberwolves finished ranked #5 in the NJCAA end of the season national ranking. In 2012, Ciampa helped lead the Timberwolves to a 15-2 record, again only losing to the eventual national champion. These two years produced 7 All-Conference players, 6 Region III 1st Team Selections, 2 Region III 2nd Team Selections, NJCAA 1st Team and 2nd Team All-Americans, and an NSCAA 1st Team All-American. Ciampa is certified as a USSF "E" licensed coach and also holds his NSCAA Goalkeeping Level I Diploma.
As a player, Ciampa enjoyed success at NCAA D-III SUNY Potsdam, where he served as a Captain his Senior year. At the high school level, Ciampa played at Maple Hill making a run to the state semifinals in his Junior year and winning a NYS Championship in his Senior year.
Ciampa is also a full-time mathematics teacher at Queensbury High School.
